It is with great pleasure that we congratulate William Paterson University vocal performance major, Christina Nicastro, for winning first place in the New Jersey National Association of Teachers of Singing competition at Rowan University this past Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011!
Christina was one of 30 singers performing in the sophomore women category. The category was so large that it was divided into two groups and the top three from each group were asked to sing again to choose the winners. Christina also sang for the Master Class with Metropolitan Opera Tenor, Jon Garrison. Christina is a soprano from Dunellen, NJ.
